ANTHRO 3352F
0.50 credit · Main
This course explores the anthropological study of inheritance. Moving beyond “inheritance†as a static object that is passed down, we attend to its production: the social labor that renders something inheritable, the exclusions it requires, and the futures it forecloses or enables. Topics include kinship, property, trauma, generations, and memory.
Registration in 3rd or 4th year.
