Climate change creates unequal risks and benefits across populations. This course examines climate change as a social process, using historical, sociological, and anthropological perspectives to analyze climate injustice. Students will explore concepts of climate justice, the role of social institutions in perpetuating inequality, and case studies pointing toward equitable solutions.
At least 0.5 course from Arts and Humanities or Social Sciences and registration in 3rd or 4th year.
