This course examines the biochemical principles and therapeutic applications of RNA- and DNA-based medicines. Topics include mRNA vaccines, antisense oligonucleotides, RNA interference, tRNA therapeutics, and viral and non-viral delivery systems. Case-based studies highlight clinical successes, limitations, and emerging directions in nucleic acid therapeutics.
