Computational biology studies computational techniques that can solve biological problems efficiently. This course emphasizes the design, analysis and implementation of algorithms for problems motivated from molecular biology research.
Computer Science 3331A/B and Computer Science 3340A/B, or Software Engineering 2205A/B and Software Engineering 3310A/B; Biochemistry 2280A is recommended.
