This “Integrated Co-Learning†experiential learning course explores how narratives help us make sense of our lives, in both empowering or limiting ways, and how negative, medicalized narratives about people with intellectual disability impact their life chances and selfunderstanding. It examines the lack of positive disability narratives and practices changing this.
