QUALITATIVE RESEARCH IN FAMILY STUDIES

Description

An introduction to qualitative research and its application to the study of the family. Topics to be considered include participant observation, interview skills, life histories and methods of analysis.

Prerequisites

Family Studies and Human Development 2300F/G and an additional 0.5 course in Family Studies and Human Development at the 2000-level or above; or permission of the School.

Antirequisites

Sociology 3307F/G, Sociology 3310F/G.
