This course provides students the opportunity to gain experiential learning and encompasses a supervised field placement in child, youth and family-focused settings such as school boards, non-profit organizations, family health centres, and child health clinics. Enrolment is limited to fourth-year Family Studies & Human Development students.
Registration in fourth year, with a modular average of 70%, and enrolment in any of the following modules: Honours Specialization in Family Studies and Human Development, or the Major in Family Studies and Human Development (if included in an Honours Double Major), or permission of the Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences. Application required (see School for further information).
Pass/Fail. Minimum of 75 experiential learning contact hours over the course of the term in which it is offered.
