Introduction to classical systems engineering and associated methods, tools and practices, with application experienced through multidisciplinary design projects. Students will gain knowledge across topics including: the Systems Engineering V-model, human-centered design, modeling and simulation, Design for X, sustainability, sociotechnical systems, interface and risk management, and human decision making.
