This course examines the psychological facilitators and barriers to exercise, the psychological benefits derived from involvement, and the psychosocial determinants associated with failure to initiate and/or adhere to exercise. Content will be presented within theoretical perspectives that explain exercise involvement, and interventions used to initiate and maintain exercise behaviour.
