The course examines how sport is used for development from different historical, development, socio-cultural, and management theories and concepts. It will examine the intentional use of physical activity, sport, play, and leisure to address pressing social, economic, political, and health issues (e.g., conflict resolution, poverty, unemployment, gender inequality).
Kinesiology 1050A/B; registration in any module in Kinesiology or permission from the School of Kinesiology.
