This course continues the development of logical reasoning and proofs begun in Mathematics 2155F/G. Topics include elementary number theory (gcd, lcm, Euclidean algorithm, modular arithmetic, unique factorization), discrete mathematics (permutations and combinations, inclusion and exclusion), and graph theory (graphs, paths, cycles).
Mathematics 1120A/B (with a mark of at least 85%) or Mathematics 2155F/G.
